Task2 - 12번
According the proposal, the university should have extra tables outside the cafeteria becuase of crowded space.
The woman thinks the proposal is not a great idea and gives two reasons.
The first reason is that it is temporary. To be specific, now, the other dinning hall is ready for reopen after construction for renovation. So the outside the cafeteria will be less crowded space after ready for reopen finish.
The second is that she doubt the outside cafeteria is appropriate for eating. To explain, many students play soccer around the cafeteria at eating meals. So she doesn't want to be smashed by sccore ball etc..
These are the reasons why the woman thinks the proposal is not a great idea.
Task3 Template
In the lecture, the professor talks about ~~~.
The professor gives two examples(one example) using experiments(personal experience) to explain the topic.
The professor(he/she) first says that S+
In the experiment, the researchers/scientists V ..., then ...
What happened later is that S+V
The speaker mentions taht S+V
So this is an example of N
<Question 3 of 4 - Inequity Aversion>
In the lecture, the professor talks about exploitation.
The professor gives an examlpe about an flower and bees relationship to explain the topic.
The professor first says that it is symbiotic relationship which both of the species involved realize a benefit.
In nature, bees look for the bright color because bright color indicates nectar, which bees used to create honey.
The bees extract the nector and collect the pollen in it's body. After then, it speards to other flowers. That is a beneficial relationship between bees and flowers.
However, the speaker mentions that orchit called ophys flower used bright color to atrract bees. But there is no nectar for bees. In this relationship, The orchit flower is only beneficial.
So this is an example of exploitation.
<Question 3 of 4 - Negative Ideation>
Negative Ideation
Negative ideation is a concept that people use when resisting desirable things by connecting them to negative images. It is like a way of hypnotizing oneself that a particular thing is bad. Negative ideation is often used as a method to cure diseases mentally and is even used when going on a diet. Surprisingly, this psychological cure seems to work quite well in humans, since the understanding of the way the human mind works makes it easier to understand how such thoughts affect one’s actions. The area of usage for negative ideation is expanding.
In the lecture, the professor talks about negative ideation.
The professor gives an examlpe about an personal experience to explain the topic.
The professor first says that he used to love chocolate. But, he had soon realized that eating chocolate is not good for his health. So he thought that chocolate is disgusting bar. After then, he was sick when he saw chocolate in his workplace cafe.
So this is an example of negative ideation.
< Question 3 of 4 - 01_03>
Observation Method
The act of recording part of a consumer’s activities or behavior is known as the observation method. Observation method refers to monitoring consumers using a particular product. These observations can be made in either a natural setting or an artificial setting. Natural settings are real-life situations, while artificial settings are developed to seem like real-life settings. Observations can also take place without the consumer being aware of the fact that he or she is being watched. This kind of observation is referred to as disguised observation. Disguised observation has the distinct advantage of guaranteeing natural behavior from the consumer.
In the lecture, the professor talks about observation method which can be made in either a natural setting or an artificial setting.
The professor gives an examlpe about experiment of car gallery to explain the topic.
The professor first says that a owner of car gallery wanted to expand new session in gallery. In direct method, the owner did survey for visitors' opinion in each secton. But, visitors were not seriously to give their commetns. There were almost reulsts that everything is great and nice place.
The professor then says that after this method failed, security guard was set to record the number of visitors and the time they spent in each session. Visitors didn't know about that. So they were normaly in car gallery. The result of this method gave a good instight which session is popular and which session is not. Therefore, this result helped the owner of car gallery expand most popular session.
So this is an example of observation method.
< Question 3 of 4 - 11_03>
Passive Locomotion
Passive locomotion occurs when an animal species utilizes its environment to travel from one place to another. Some spiders, for example, will “kite” through the air by letting the wind catch a long strand of webbing, causing the spider to be carried away with the web. The main reason for this mobility is to look for a new place to find food or avoid predators. As for another example, a fish called the remora has its dorsal fin located on its head. It attaches this fin to a bigger fish and rides to its next destination. This method of locomotion saves a great deal of energy for the animal.
In the lecture, the professor talks about passiove locomotion which occurs when an animal species utilizes its environment to travel from one place to another.
The professor gives an examlpe about example of spider to explain the topic.
The professor first says that there are many spiders that live in the same area because spiders borned in large group. It can be hard to find food and surviving is not easy. So they need to be sperated from large group. In this process, they travel for long distance to go to different places. They climb on tree or rock. And at the top of that, they shoot web silk on to the sky. At there, they are carried by wind like 'kite' because of they are so light.
The professor then says that this method is very useful for spiders. When spider is flying by wind, they can save energy and they can get some food effectively in new area.
So this is an example of passive locomotion.
